July Shows

The Farewell Show

July 5th – The Spaceland Ballroom w/ Dead Stars

Well the cat has been out of the bag for a while I suppose but now it has a Facebook event which makes it official, its for real, the Joiner Inners are calling it a day. It has been a fun 17 years, fun and frustrating and amazing and heart breaking and everything in between. So were going to go out the way we came in, with our amps turned up to 11, rocking until we literally cant stand up or sing anymore.

Mr. Steve Rodgers has been gracious enough to let us borrow The Spaceland Ballroom for the evening so that we can celebrate in style. To help matters along we’ve invited a few special guests, Brooklyn’s Dead Stars who if you haven’t heard yet, you will, whether you like it or not because the Joiner Inners still believe in a world where a band who is great, great because they write great songs and great because they rock can still take over the world.

The Joiner Inners are giving one last glorious shot at world domination and we are inviting you all to be there and help send us off. This will be the last time you’re going to hear any of these tunes, ever. Some of them at 17 years old and frankly need to be retired from the stage but thats the beauty of rock and roll. We will never play them again but they’ll live on beyond the 5th.

We hope you can come, we hope your friends can come!

This is my favorite part:

” “House of Sound” includes seven songs that may not leave your brain and will get stuck in your car stereo. It all comes at a great time because this is the perfect record for long summer drives down to the shore. Songs like “What It Is” and “House of Sound” scream “radio hits,”…”
